Caddy in the neigborhood

I was pulling into my neighborhood after work in my truck and right behind me shoots in a brand new blue CTS-V. I about deposited in my work pants. I gave the guy a thumbs up and he waved back. He pulled into a driveway down the street from me... I'm contemplating going and checking it out. What do you think?

On a similar note, last week I was driving home and noticed a car on I-696 with covers on its front and rear. As I approached it I was in awe, as it had a dual center exhaust, and looked to be a Cadillac. I pulled up next to it and noticed the inlet in front of the mirrors, exactly like the CTS's. Has anyone seen any spy photos of a CTS with dual center exhausts?


Lastly, about 2 days later I saw a covered CTS hatchback/wagon job. Has anything been announced for this?


While there's not many nice things to say about living in Detroit, getting to see the concepts and captured fleets driving around is pretty cool

Blue CTS-V, probaly a gorgeous car.

ok, back from that. I snapped about 2 pics with my camera, and on the third one he walked out of his house (I about shat myself). I didn't want to make it awkward and keep taking pics so I held off. He was a great guy though, definitely into cars which was nice to hear. The thing is beautiful in person. It was the base trim, so no recaro seats or popup nav, but it did have a gorgeous piano black interior with carbon fiber trim.

I'll try getting this pic uploaded. I went right for the seats so I don't really have much to show, but at least its proof I wasn't B.Sing


He also had an SLK500 and two riced toyotas or something in his driveway along with it :p

Edit: this picture unfortunately really sucks. The reflection of the window makes it quite hard to see the interior, you only get about half the seat. I might head back over there a little later to snap some more photos, without being to creepy. Its like a blue green hue, not exactly sure what to call it...

They were not these (which do look sweet!):

They were much more plain, it looked like a suede insert, with a small stretched chrome "V" in the backrest. It was white leather.




This is the only visible shot I got of the interior. Before it gets to dark I'll go take a couple more of the exterior.

The coupe you saw with the covering the front, and diaper on the back was a CTS coupe. Earlier this year it was announced that the concept Caddy CTC woudl make it to production. The last news and spy pictures I know of was back in mid June-ish, of the same coupe you described. Since then, I thought the plans had been canceled, and testing shut down, but going by what you said, it is still go. Cool. If you do see it again, try to get a picture of it. I might be wrong. I'll try to find some pictures.

It will, apparently, be unmasked at the LA Auto Show, this year.

CTS Coupe. If you see it again, take a few pictures. It should be about ready for production.
