Who Knows BMW's (spec e90 M3)

i was curious how much horse power and torque the dual clutch manual can hold stock and if anyone has stuff to build it up, anyone know this or know a good place to find out.

i was thinking more towards aftermarket tuner builds, with a built tranny would 600hp be out of line.

I don't really know how much it would be able to hold. 600 might be pushing it. Then again I'm no expert

dont count on getting anymore than the 415-420hp it comes with.

ANY touching of the engine, or anything that at all enhances performance voids the warranty

mainly looking at getting a DCT-M out of one so warranty is not an issue.

well the New Audi R8 has 600hp and the DSG system... but i know DSG > DCT, so im guessing the DCT will give you 420-575hp, and DSG probaly up to 650ish

those are conservative numbers.

now the question is how intermingled are the computer controls for those transmissions.

Very.

i know that the DCT tranny in the M3 has a few glitches that come up every now and then, all related to software.

Its probaly wired through the ECU, they have that idrive system that controls everything.

Its not a project i would look forward to working on. But maybe you could look for a salvaged M3 that was totalled and see what could be done.
