heart broken

if you had to choose between the woman of your dreams and a camaro what would you do?

granted its not an ultimatum by the woman but rather i guess a choice of which you can afford. I know that sounds kinda wrong or wierd but having such a high car payment is straining my relationship.

we got into a huge fight tonight. needless to say i was pretty much kicked out...

In my opinion and experience, things should have been laid out before-hand. I know that I had to consider what would change and how things would work out. I had many conversations with my girlfriend before my car came in. She was very understanding about everything I was going through and what would come. The most important thing is communication! Yes a car will be there and take you places, but it is your significant other that will take care of you when you're sick and comfort you with loving arms when the world seems to be against you...

I don't know exactly what happened between you guys, and I can't ask you to write it out on this forum, but try to talk things out with her.

Good luck to you my brother!

Love is greater than any material item. Even a Camaro.

Human vs machine, it's a no brainer. Make the right choice. Evaluate your situation, maybe right now a big car payment is not what you need hanging over you. Think about it.

Good woman is harder to find than a good car. If she's WORTH it then do what it takes.

Well, do you really really need the rims?

And yet, what would the money be spent on differently?

I really want stripes painted on the car, and I could afford it, but then I would be tappin savings. So I will wait and save the $$.

can you wait a few months for the rims, put a bit of $$ on the side each month.

haha. thanks guys i needed that.

well i got the car before her but i feel like my world is collapsing now that she is gone.

im not even sure me getting rid of the car would solve anything.

im trying to communicate with her but she isnt answering me now. tried everything from phone calls, txts, facebook ims and messages but no response. my mother says that she prob just needs time to cool off from the fight but im worried she might not respond at all

Look back on your relationship with her in a objective way and try to determine whether she is or was being selfish. Relationship take work from both parties. If you were doing all of the work then skip her.

I hate to say it buy it sounds like she was looking for an excuse to leave and used your car for the reason she needed. .
