Is it my understanding that you are or once were a police officer?

If so, I would like to pick your brain, if you would allow me to do so. If not, disregard this message.

I am an officer. We also have 6 or so other officers on the site as well.

Picking my brain is all good by me depending on the type of question at hand. Is it something you wish for all other members to read? Or, is this something that you'd like to know in a pm?

Depending on the topic, I might/might not wish to partake. Some of the police threads have gone on to bashing and I don't take too well to that. Some get too time consuming when I'd much rather talk about cars in my off time. Again, all depends.

Well, its various questions about being a police officer that I would like to know. I am considering joining our police department here. I would not think of bashing a police officer as I respect them greatly for what the do. I was in the Marines and am currently getting my degree but feel like I would want to be a cop. Before I make this decision, I would like to ask some questions if you do not mind. We can do this in a PM if you like.
