They are 3.73 gears for the SS but some have electric limited slip and some have coolant pipes. Some have neither and some have both. So you need to figure out which RPO codes you have to determine whats supposed to be there. Im sure either could be modified to fit also.

MM6 TRANSMISSION-MAN 6 SPD, TREMEC, 85MM, 2.66 1ST, 0.50 6TH, O/D

G80 AXLE POSITRACTION-LIMITED SLIP
G96 AXLE POSITRACTION-LIMITED SLIP, ELECTRONIC
GT4 AXLE REAR-3.73 RATIO
GW6 AXLE REAR-3.27 RATIO
HRD AXLE REAR-2.85 RATIO
HRE AXLE REAR-2.77 RATIO
KNR COOLING SYSTEM-AXLE

Look at your RPO code list and see which of these you have. You might have multiple.

The big question is "what are you doing?" Did yours break? Did you buy a shell and your piecing it back together? Do you have a car you're converting from a 4cy to a 8cyl?
