Scout Terra and Traveler

I'm actually intrigued...

https://www.scoutmotors.com/terra

Solid axles, body on frame, optional front bench seat, nice interior with tactile controls, decent tow rating (no word on towing range, though), and an optional ICE range extender. So many practical offroad and retro ques to love. I hope they can be affordable.

I hope they do well. Still seems like brand x styling, though. Not much different than the Rivian.

At least they used the old Scout script...lol

They should make a really bare boned and Spartan two-door off road model, like the old Scout 80 and 800. A deer-hunter model...something you wouldn't be afraid to get dirty.

I'm not excited about a VW range extender ICE for the "harvester" option, for sure.

I'm with you. I drove my '74 K5/Blazer to work today. Beats the hell out of the new so-called Blazers.

Amen to that. I miss driving my 72 K20 Cheyenne more often. It’s still at my house about 3 hours away from where presently am living. It’s not much to look at it but I’ve been working on it off and on for the last 10 years. It is pretty fun to drive, and gets lots af attention when I drive it in town. For whatever reason the site isn’t letting me post pictures of it right now.
