No. I believe he was "retired" (always quotes with this guy,

), and Wagoner had a conversation with him around that time that convinced him to come our of retirement and back to GM.

No. Last I heard, they pulled him from Marketing and offered him up to Europe...who said no, and they popped him back into product development...similar to where he started when Wagoner hired him.

He's too good at too many things...

i thought i heard some one say they have him there cos everyone likes him and hes good with customers or what ever. isnt he like 80? lol anyways, since this thread is about the corvette. i wonder how the 100th anniversary vette will look :-P
