Last Pontiac Rolls Off Assembly Line

Fare thee well Pontiac! 83 years old and we still barely knew thee! :(

Apparently the last car to roll off the line was a white G6. I took this information from LS1GTO.com. Had to give them credit. They are taking it pretty hard over there.

Thats such a bummer. Pontiac really had some great cars over the years. Most recently the G8.

As they should. I was really starting to like Pontiac again. The Solstice GXP Coupe w/removable hard top was gorgeous. And the G8 was great.

I didn't know they were still being made, I'm sure if we give it a couple years most of the pontiac cars will be in chevy form one way or another.

I heard today they are offering deep discounts on Saturn and Pontiac.

Sad to see the later go. There has been some real icons from the brand over the years.

I owned a 77 TA, 2 79TAs, a 94 Grand Am, a 2000 Sunfire, a 2000 TA WS6 and 2 89 Firebird Formulas (305 and 350).

for all the sweet rides over the years, Pontiac.

Well, the G6 wasn't a bad car. Would have been nicer if the last one were say a G8 GXP. Oh well.

Neither one will happen. They won't bring a new brand over and they will not make Pontiac a niche brand.
