I hope this movie is good. It looks dope. Most movies i like gets bad reviews. Critics are only good for Artsie type movies.

I'm interested because it's a new martial arts film. storylines aren't necessary when the choreography is good.

No no no, thats a GOOD thing! See, movie critics don't know $#!7 these days. I mean, they said transformers 2 was a horrible movie (and completely missed the point of the movie: giant robots blowin stuff up!!). So that is reassuring to me.

Also, did not know the Wachowski brothers did this movie, will DEFINITELY go see it now!

I know it's based on the anime where a kid that looks like a shaolin monk is an air element user. Not sure exactly because I dont follow/watch the anime but it's about as big as Naruto and Bleach. M Night Shamalyan is working on it so I hear it's going to be good. I haven't seen much advertisement for it though after that first month.

Im a big fan of the Avatar cartoon. Easily one of the best american made cartoons of all time. The series finale has the all time high raiting on nickeloden.

the basis is there are 4 nations and each have people that have ability to manipulate "bend" their element. You got the Fire Nation, Air Nomads (monks), Water Tribes (resemble Inuits) and Earth Kingdom. Then you have the main character Aang, who's the Avatar he's like the living spirit of the planet and has the ability to use all 4 elements. Constantly being reborn to a new life each time he or she dies. The Avatar's purpose is to maintain peace and balance between the 4 nations.

Its a great cartoon, I can't believe they ended the series! Hopefully the movie is half as good as the cartoon.
