Dealer Emblem

My question is will you keep the dealer emblem on your new camaro or will you (if you are buyinbg off the lot) have them remove it or (if ordering) give them strict instructions on not placing it on your car? I have had them remove the emblem and asked for them not to place the emblem on my vehicle. I know its free advertising for them but I don't want John Smith Chevy on the rear of my vehicle. Now one I would mind if it was already on my vehicle is a dealer near me whose name starts with a d. THe emblem looks like a sideways u, an artful representation of a D and that is it. It actually looks like part of the trim on the car its so unintrusive. Oh what the heck. I would still ask them to remove it.

Mine will be debadged. It's not their Camaro once I take delivery.

it depends. i prefer it without. but some dealerships do a vinyl where others use a 3d plastic emblem.

but depending on which model i get, i'll be debadging everthing after a while. SS? where, this is a lowly v-6... that roars...lol

I still have the dealer license plate frame on my Camaro, as well as their floor mats. I won't let them do anything permanent to mine. There is one dealership near me that uses a modified Corvette emblem for their logo, that might not be so bad.

I haven't seen any dealers here in So Cal put a tacky, crappy, extra sticker on any of the cars on the lot. I have seen a few out of state cars with those dealer stickers on them and they look like CRAP.

The only dealer sticker I would want on my car is a Baldwin Motion or Yenko...

When I was in Texas all the cars had dealer emblems. Like he said, here in so-cal, you'd be hard pressed to find a car with the emblem on it. maybe a license plate frame, but we don't roll like that in Southern cali

It'll be gone. The original car emblems themselves stay. The dealer emblems either don't go on or come off and go into the trash.

Take it off!
Why would you want someone elses name on YOUR brand new Camaro?

If they put it on a rim around the plate I'll let it be there. Otherwise no.

Are they paying you advertizing fees? If not then take it off, as I tell the dealer I will tell people if they are a good dealer or not... So leave them stickers, tags, ect off my car!
