Took me a little while to post this.. but yeah.

I went to the KISS concert in Birmingham ALabama on Oct 24th.

Never bothered to ask or look around the net but heard a blurb that they replaced one of the band members???

Great pics! Kiss was the first band I ever saw in concert. I remember they were VERY loud!!!

Peter Criss and Ace Frehley are no longer with the band. They have been replaced by Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

WOH 2 of em, did they quit or get kicked out???

They quit... but if they didnt, they probably would have been run off in time any way.... Well, Ace would have... Peter probably not so much.

RW85 could you tell sound wise that they got 2 new guys???

Well... drum wise I dont know because I never heard Peter play

Guitar wise.... I have heard Ace play and I think Tommy is on par if not better.
Ace doesnt remember many of his KISS years and has had to re-learn most of the material... Tommy plays it like its his own

They dont play Beth anymore (I guess its just wrong without Peter)

They did play Shock Me... and Tommy sang.... yeah, his voice isnt the same as Ace, and he probably could be a better singer... but its ok.

Its just nice to see him involved... His first year Gene and Paul didnt let Tommy do any solos, or any singing.. he just kinda stood to the side... Now he is just as involved as everybody else and has really found a home within the band.
