I didn't mean stop eating. You need to find the calorie level that maintains your weight and then set your level below that. Weight Watchers has a great system for figuring out your daily intake. They use a point system. My wife and I have been very successful with it. Bottom line is if your not losing weight your eating too much. There is no getting around this.

I'm slowly losing the weight, which is fine since I'm building muscle at the same time. BUT I want to lose more weight while building muscle. it's becoming a hard balancing act right now on the over all goal to be down to 180 in the next 4 months. current weight is 217.

The key to dieting is consistency, because then when you plateau, it's easier to adjust it to fix the problem. When you think it's because you need to do more cardio, it's probably because you just need to binge on a bunch of carbs to restore leptin levels. BB.com is an okay place to be and research is always your best friend.
