how to upload images from google drive?

Can someone give me a quick tip on how to upload or post a link to an image from google drive?

I've tried uploading the image via URL (the link ends with .jpg, so it's a valid file), but the site says it's not a valid link.

I've also tried using the <img> and </img> tags (with square brackets [ ] ) with the URL inside (ending with .jpg).

The img tags just show a broken image link.

^or just upload to imgur.com and use the "BBCode" format for forums.

This is what I do. Download the image and then upload to a website such as tinypic and use the forum code they provide which has the {img} {/img} around it already.
