Watch worth repairing?

Hi all, so I have this tag heuer watch, got it for about $1800 during sales. Silly me, accidentally hit it today and the watch stopped upon impact, some axis must have broken within the mechanism :(
So I rang up to a watch repair shop and get a quote for repairing the automatic watch, it's gonna be between $400-600. Do you guys think it's still worth repairing? Or should I sell it off as a faulty watch?

Are you really in London? If so that sucks. Was going to tell you to send it to me. I'm in the business...

Seems high to me. I can have a Rolex serviced for less than that.

I'd say fix it. It'll be cheaper than trying to sell that one and buying another new one.

I am indeed, unfortunately/fortunately. I very much appreciate your good will though But by service do you mean like general oiling and polishing? I think the damage is more than that....the automatic gears and stuff have stopped spinning (the back is see through) how much approximately would the parts cost?

yea it will definitely be cheaper than selling a damaged watch and getting a new one, it's just the repair cost is almost a third of what I paid for and it seems a bit deep, knowing that I only bumped it in the kitchen... I'd feel much better/reasonable if I hit it when I am skiing/skydiving haha

Smack it around a little more to see if it will fix it self, it's already broken so you can't hurt it anymore lol. Also I thought I was a high roller with my 150$ watches.

definitely worth fixing! What model is it? If you don't fix it, I might take it off your hands

I don't know, I just like Heuers, including TAG Heuers, been wearing them for 35 years.

I just bought a Heuer Camaro, very rare watch

Get it fixed, I have the same watch. It was my first Tag... I'm a huge Seiko guy personally.

the exact figure is yet to be determined, I brought it to Harrods and they estimated to be around £350 for a full service and repair based on experience.
