hey camaro 5 thoughts have gotten me down lately can ya help me get over it

i keep reflecting back on my junior year in high school, and how i messed up girl-wise. one day my mom and her friend was helping each other with a garage sale her daughter (Jenny) had a friend over (sheila, whom i've had a crush on for a very long time) we hung out all day it was amazing. Then the next week i was invited to Jenny's Birthday party, and sheila was going to be there as well as some of her other friends. Turns out i decide to invite my best friend (Taylor) and we go to the party and start hanging out. Next thing i know, time goes by and he starts hitting on this other girl and i start hitting on Sheila. Later on I have sheila sitting on my lap and another friend of hers was sitting on Taylors. So we're all good right everything is happy. THE VERY NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL, i learn taylor asked sheila out and she said yes mind you i didn't ask her out that night because there was a lot of people there,and i am shy, but god 2 years later they are still together and today she cut class so she could get Taylor food. And i always get to hear about how much she loves him when he treats her like crap makes her work dosen't have a job and he always expects her to do things for him god sometimes when i see them together i wish i had my camaro just so i could go driving. I never should have invited him

My story doesn't play out exactly like yours, but it has the same basic plot.

The good thing is that I really just don't care anymore. I don't care which way it goes, if it works out for me, awesome, if it doesn't, who cares.

Long story short. It will probably suck right up to the point where you meet the right girl.

You are too young to not realize there are 3.5 Billion women on this planet, of which probably several hundred million are around your age and speak english (if that's even a requirement)

You can waste a lot of time in your young life thinking about this.............and from experience nothing I could tell you will change that right away.......but you have to move your life forward. Don't be 50 wishing you hadn't wasted 2 more minutes worrying about a girl you never even went on one date with.

But just know you didn't blow anything. Hell she said yes to your buddy after hanging with you...............that night. You'd think she might have given you a solid day to follow up......... shy or not.

Time will heal this, you can trust me on that. You just have to know it too and you'll be fine.

Spend your time worrying about your future, your career, education, what color to get your Camaro

but i am sorry your having a tough time. i know your story too well myself.
