Vette & Maro Drivers

How is the new Camaro compared to the new Corvette? Highs and lows of each, how they stack next to each other. Which is funner, 'better', or just worth more, to you ( not in $$ terms) to own. Thinking about actually getting my foot into one.

Let's be really honest here. The Corvette is the better performance car. Expect the Corvette to more aggressively dominate the track and to win more races. Expect the Camaro to look more like a muscle car and hold more people.

A friend of mine described driving a Corvette like driving a rocket. The low, hovering feel of the Corvette makes the driver seat more like a pilot than a driver. The Camaro's low stance makes it an aggressive vehicle, but it is second to the Corvette in all performance aspects. While it leads the Challenger and Mustang in performance, like the Corvette, the Camaro also is not known to compete in the same fields as modified Corvettes. Corvettes are lighter, more nimble, and functionally better. The Camaro bears a more stylized interior with a heritage-inspired body that serves less function than that of the Corvette.

In any performance-oriented way that these cars can be compared, the Corvette wins. In such a comparison, it is fairly difficult to make the Camaro look good, so I'll just point to its limited functional advantages. The Camaro has more seats, more space, and more current demand as a result of the design and rarity of the car.

Buy the one that feels right for you.
