Today I witnessed a rare sight....

Was out driving and was stuck in traffic behind a BMW......as we approached an intersection I witnessed something I had only heard rumours about. The driver of the BMW actually used his turn signals. To say the least, I was so shocked that I didn't think to try to capture this event on video for posterity.

Ha! Good one.

The other day, I was booking it down the freeway, in the left lane. A car doing 10 MPH under the speed limit up ahead saw me coming, and moved to the right, allowing me to continue on my way without having to brake, change lanes, or pass anybody on the left.

See... two can tell tall tales!

no one in NC uses turn signals no matter what car they drive, I believe I'm one of the few who uses them

Nope. I lived there 20+ years. Never had to replace a turn signal bulb in any vehicle. And when I travel back home, I stop using them to just make me feel like the ol' times.

people are really starting to annoy me with the lack of turn signal usage. I probably was not that good at using them back in the day, but I am almost hyper aware of using them now, which is why I see many people don't use them when cutting in front of you, or when they are at a four way stop or FOR ANY REASON WHY THEY ARE PART OF THE CAR.

It's the same a holes that while travelling 80 MPH need to be literally 2 feet behind the person in front of them, the same ones that get into rear-enders during rush hour and hold up 20 miles of traffic.

oh man you got me going now...god I hate drivers!

OH OH, the passive aggressive jerks with 2 miles of empty road in front of them that want to hold up fast lane traffic - they are more dangerous than 99% of any driver on the road - MOVE OVER!!!!

breath deep...in through the nose, out through the mouth....

I caught a similar event. And on an M5, even! TURN SIGNALS! MORE THAN ONCE, so it wasn't just a fluke!

I didn't know BMW's came equipped with factory turn signals. You learn something new everyday.

I work at a BMW dealership in the parts department.

Brake light bulb stock - 53 pieces right now.
Turn signal bulb stock - 2. Not even kidding. (We need to replace them every once in a while due to 4-way hazard use when they break down.)
