Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

EDIT 2: OOOPS! I was in no way making the Obama to muslim connection. That was merely a comment on his political stance to this point. I don't buy into the hype that he is a muslim in christian clothing. Just wanted to be clear.

As former veteran, from an family that has history back to the American Revolution as citizens, and supporter in some american culture (Muscle cars, baseball, etc); even I have to say Im with Dragoneye on this one. I wish I could live there. If it wasnt for the fact that it was so hard and expensive for me to get there, plus the fact I have no idea how to get employed down there.....I would go on the first boat.

They still enjoy our identical love for muscle cars, they actually have freedom and liberty, and there government doesnt piss the rest of the world off. I believe every citizen by law has to vote (manditory like taxes), and they have a government that actually listens to the people as a whole, not lobbyist or tree-hugging hippies (read: CAFE *cough*).

The Prime Minister is correct. Step on toes. Its the only way to be right and get crap done.

I like Australia, its the only place that I might leave Canada for. I remember hearing that Canada and Australia were supposed to start partnering up on some things, we face a similar set of issues. This isn't about that though so moving on . . .

I've been saying things along the lines of that little message for a long time, and I'm still young. The way I put it is that if I move to another country, I won't demand that they accommodate me. I will learn their culture and adapt to it. And I will learn the language before I leave, not 10 years later.
