Just bought my wife her dream car!

Hey everyone, just joined and this place looks pretty cool with lots of info on mods.

Wife has been hounding me for years for her 40th to get her a Camaro.

Spent the better part of the last two months telling her I didn't think I could make it happen and that I was sorry despite my efforts.

Her b-day is in 2 months and I just picked her up a brand new 2015 2SS Summit White with Silver stripes for $31,500 plus tax and license. Car is registered, insured and in storage here in town awaiting her big day.

She's a gear head so I know I will need to do a bunch or reading to get her the mods she wants. Most likely start with a CAI and cat back exhaust as she likes em loud and beefy.

As an owner of CNC machine shop I will looking for my first couple of parts to build for this bad bow once I give her the car. I love to make car/auto parts as that's where our hobbies rest at this moment.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Why? Car already makes 400hp and I think that's plenty for her. I would think with the addition of the cat back and the CAI we should gain what another 5-10hp?

Based on previous experience with headers can I expect some drone inside the car?

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Cause "she likes em beefy". Headers have the most meat out of any mod you can do! They'll sound so sexy.

And what about drone?

She has a Durango Unlimited with the 5.7 hemi many years ago and it had a bad ass exhaust, but the drone was terrible.

The Solo Exhaust with J-pipe remove all the drone through out the powerband. Search around on here for them, lots of love for them.
