Car Culture Locations in the USA
I am planning a cross country road trip and I want to visit car culture related places along the lines of the Pistenklause in Nurburg and the Seneca Lodge at Wakins Glen.
Any other examples around the USA? |

you mean something like the Indianapolis 500 Museum, with all it's history and historical cars on display? Or more "cultural" than that?

Cross Country....and all stops in between?
I mean, California has car "culture"oozing from the cracks in the ground...if you are going that far. You might as well plan around SEMA and try to get inside tickets on your way through the desert. There is a huge dry lake bed out there called Bonneville that has a bit of history. As mentioned, INDY, Daytona, Pikes Peak for the racing history... I assume you are taking Route 66 for your journey. That's a given, right considering car culture.
