new to the site but had this Z for 18 years

Its been a while since I posted on any Camaro forum but I did a little work on the old Z/28 this weekend and thought I would check CamaroZ28 dot com and it was basically dead.... so here I am.

Funny story.... The other day I was doing burn outs in my driveway again with my 6 and 8 year olds in the back seat laughing the whole time and the disapproving wife glaring at me. Those two ask me every time they are in the Camaro to take off fast and squeal the tires. So I had to run them to ball practice and of course I was force to chirp the tires into second when leaving the neighborhood. When hit second, the transmission mount let go and the tranny slammed the bottom of the car sending change and my sunglasses all over the place. Its been over 10 years since I had that happen. Scared the crap out of me then and it still does today.

Any one else have a little one that asks if he can have your camaro when he is bigger? My son has asked about 10 times.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

CamaroZ28 has died which is really sad with any car forum. Despite Camaro5 being a great site it's nice to check out what's going on elsewhere. Welcome to Camaro5, love to see some pics of your Z28.

My daughter still asks if she can have my '96. It's sitting in the garage in rough shape & I don't want to give it to her like that. But, if I spend the time & money to fix her up... I wouldn't want to give it away like that either.

& not that I don't want you around here, but have you seen thirdgen.org?
