Leno buys a Challenger SRT-8

For all we know he probably called an exec at Chrysler and had one set aside... lucky guy!!!

Seems Jay picked it up yesterday at Valley Dodge in Van Nuys. It will join his 1970 Challenger among the hundreds of other cars in Leno's Garage when he isn't driving it around the Valley or stopping off at local car meets. We'll keep an eye out for him at Bob's Big Boy and VCR to see what he thinks of his latest toy. We're guessing he will get quite a kick out of it, with its 425-hp Hemi V8 and retro-mod good looks. Drive it in good health, Jay.

Nice gas cap. I'd put what else I wanted to say about that gas cap...on a Camaro, but I'll pass. YOu all already know.

Nice, Leno. Congrats on your purchase. Actually looks really nice w/ the black on flat black racing stripes.

i like how theres fuel on the gas cap it's like really i didn't think this car ran on fuel i thought it ran on orange juice....sometimes i wonder what people were thinking when they did sumthing...am i the only one that finds the fuel thing amusing lol

Wow, he seemed mightily impressed with it. I can't imagine how impressed he will be with the Camaro. But I have to say, the Chally has a NICE noise to it.

Well, Jay Leno has already done a new Camaro presentation way back in 2006 and I'm sure he got himself som impressed that he'll get one ASAP

Am I the only one that just sees no appeal in the Challenger? I don't like it's size, it's looks, it's interior, or it's pricetag.

Am I alone?

I like the Challenger better than the mustang....... if not for the Camaro it would be my first choice..... but, if not for the Camaro I would just buy a truck again next time..............

No. I'm there with you on all accounts except the exterior sheetmetal. I only like the way it looks from the outside....
