Restore

If you knew what to do and how to do it what car would you restore

My List:

1969 Chevy' SS Chevelle with a A 465 hp version of the 454 LS7- I just love the way this car looks, just bad, just drive somewhere in it love it

1970 Plymouth' Superbird with a 383 Hemi - I want this car so bad more than the Camaro/Challenger, that I will reduce the size of the spoiler a bit

1974 Ford' Torino with a ford Hurricane V8 rated at 425 Hp I think, ever since I seen Starsky & Hutch I always liked this car alot, hope I own one someday

1968 Dodge' Charger R/T B-Body with a 426 Hemi V8- same with the chevelle, just cruise in it

Camaro 2SS RS, IBM, White Rally Stripes, custom fuel door: Status: going to the dealer: soon

The Chevelle is a good choice. Another would be any 60's fastback Mustang or any early Corvette. Frankly what model wouldn't really matter to me, I think all old cars are works of art and ought to be restored and kept up just out of respect.

If you want to restore them, check everything about them really well.

The SUperbird should only have 1 of 3 engine configurations. the 426, a 440 with a 4bbl or a 440 6 pack.

As for the Chevelle, check it really well. Chevy didn't release a 454 Chevelle in '69. There were the COPO 427s but the 454 didn't hit until '70. The '70 had 2 454s. The LS5 rated at 360 hp (270 kW) and the LS6 at 450 hp (340 kW). So it isn't in a Stock configuration.

Personally, not a fan of the Torino or most 70's stock.
1974 Torino
Also, are you saying it has a 2009 6.2L V8?

Do the Charger, the engine and badging match up. Check the #s
Wiki - A famous Charger was the four-speed, triple-black 1968 Charger R/T used in the movie Bullitt. The chase scene between Steve McQueen's fastback Mustang GT and the hitmen's Charger R/T is popularly regarded as one of the greatest car chase scenes ever filmed. During filming of the scene, the Charger proved to be extremely durable. When performing the various jumps over the hills in San Francisco, the Mustang GT encountered several suspension problems, while the suspension of the Chargers used never failed once.
