GM Hy-Wire, future of automobiles?

Top Gear discusses the hydrogen powered GM Hy-Wire and it's pretty freakin sweet.

the notion of hywire is being partially implemented into the e-flex platform. it is basically a modular design approach allowing for a greater flexability in powertrain and body styles. both concepts share those ideas. e-flex is just more practical. hywire was always intended to be a dream
