Travel Buddy

I was wondering if anyone does this. I don't ever really mean to, but when I am going on a trip of more than an hour or so, I usually end up with a travel buddy. By this I mean some random car and I seem to team up and run together. We cover each other on lane changes, block people being aholes, etc. It may sound weird, but I enjoy it.

You should have just said "That is me tracking your movements", especially with that avatar

It's fun when it's a travel 'buddy', and not a travel 'butt'. Not everyone that wants to roll with the Camaro knows 'how to drive a car safely'. Like they want to draft with you inches off your bumper, aggressive last second lane changes, texting and driving at 75 mph, and anything else that would distract them from paying attention, or just not safely operating the car. When you get those people wanting to ride with you, all you do is hope they don't kill you or anyone around you.

But with the right person, it makes the long trip more fun and time go by faster.

Had a travel buddy bringing my Z/28 from TX to NJ. Got into PA when we linked up, SRT8 Challenger, we kept pace for about an hour before he took off. Always good to have someone to pace with.

One day you're going to have a "buddy" think you're a stalker... and then we can move this thread over to the concealed carry one that's currently going on...
