I'd be surprised if the rancher gave his permission for that....teasing cattle like that is not cool, could be very dangerous and....it runs off pounds costing the rancher money....

...I wouldn't try this at home...You may not like the cattle owner's reaction...

I tried rounding up cattle but with the lowly V6 I couldn't keep up.

My buddy had a PA- system (loudspeaker) in his pickup... one day, he showed me something that I did not believe was true, until he demonstrated. He pulled up next to a field that was filled with grazing bovines. He got on on the PA, and "mooed" into it. Those freakin' cows alerted immediately, and after a few more "moos," they all started heading our way. Jon kept the mooing up, and some of those things even ran--- yes, like galloping--- to get to us just as fast as a cow can arrive. Once they had all gathered 'round, they peacefully stood and observed, transfixed by the truck that was speaking cow.

Jon demonstrated this on other fields, so it wasn't just some random herd that perhaps was summoned daily by its rancher using loud, electronic- sounding moos. Apparently, all cattle in Northern CA are fascinated by this. And, apparently, all country boys are fascinated that the cows are fascinated.
