Hello from Alberta!
Hey everyone, joined the site a couple days ago and thought I should do the new member thing. I don't have a Camaro yet but I am looking pretty hard for one I like. I owned two thirdgens when I was younger and loved them, then moved into the Subaru scene for a while, most recently an '07 STi.
I have now found myself in a position where I can finally park two cars, so I've decided to part with the STi and grab a cheap Forester for the winter and a Camaro for everything else! I can't WAIT to get into another f-body. Guess you can take the guy out of the muscle car but not the other way around. So I've driven two so far, and I've pretty well decided I want a 2SS/RS, probably 2010/11 (I don't mind the interior). Ideally black or possibly the orange, though I'd have to see it in person. Been doing a lot of reading in the past few weeks and this site is a huge help! Glad to finally be a member! Here's my old Trans Am...  And my current STi for the heck of it...

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Nice 3rd Gen, wish I still had my 84 and the wifes 84. They were both sweet cars.

Heh thanks for the welcome. I have good news, I just bought a Camaro! It's a 2011 2SS/RS with low mileage and awesome condition. Very excited.
Now I have to see what sort of mods to plan for.. One thing that drew me back to the Camaro is the crazy amount of aftermarket support! |
