Champion's Event at The Heritage Center
 What a Wonderful Chevrolet Day!! I received an invitation to attend the 2014 Chevrolet Champions Event at the GM Heritage Center. GM Performance honors it's racing champions and other drivers with noteworthy performances. Today's honoree's were Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kyle Larson, Johnny O'Connell, Helio Castroneves, Will Power, Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Lawson Aschenbach, Erica Enders-Stevens, Shane Gray and Bruno Massel. Lot's of different forms of racing represented. The Drivers were given a Cross Flag award from Chevrolet for their accomplishments. The coolest part was sitting right up front and having Jim Campbell direct the drivers to our table to shake hands and say hello. The members at our table were winners in a United Way Auction. |
