Why did they debadge all cars on Hawaii 5.0?

For the Hawaii 5.0 fans, did you guys notice they debadged all Chevy cars (An SS and a Tahoe) in the recent episode, anyone have a scope on that?

i noticed that, and after the break they didn't do a "Hawaii Five-O is sponsored by Chevy" ad. I've noticed the last couple years lots of shows, including reality shows, removing badges or blurring them. I don't know why, it's not like that's an endorsement. Very strange.

maybe so......but in the past GM paid big bucks to have their cars as the main rides....and they had all of the badges on them.....obviously they don't pay for the ability anymore....thus they de-badge them, thus their logo's are not shown.....its all about advertising. YES we all know what the cars/trucks are.....but that's what its all about.

If you are gonna do it, do it right GM. I get what you are saying Mr. Nuke but these cars are beautiful and honestly the Chevy sign is not bad at all. May be plastidip them, its like a beautiful women with no lipstick, i like mine glossy

This is hardly anything new.

Watch episodes of 'Dragnet' or 'Adam-12' and in the vast majority of them, if the camera is close enough to read the names on cars, those names have been covered with chrome tape so that they are illegible.

As always, it's a marketing issue. No money, no laundry.
