New Car, New Emissions
Hey guys,
Bought my new vette from a dealer outside of California. California requires smog to transfer if bought out of state. Well long story short, I can not get all my Inspection/ Monitors to perform all of the self checks. I have 2 test that still show incomplete after about 750 miles. I now have two days to get this smogged. Yikes! I have tried cold starts, 55-65 for 5 mile drives, coasts down from 50 to 20 MPH over and over and over. I can not get the EVAP and the O2 sensor to correctly test. Any suggestions? please help!! |

Have you thought about taking it to a dealership?

That's very strange. My 2014, purchased here in MA, was emissions certified for all "50 States." Your Stingray should have passed all the tests. A dealer should be able to check it out for you. Let us know how this works out.
