Hey! Geeks! Solar eclipse, right now!
Just a partial, but still... Starts about now, much of the U.S.... right here, it started at 210PM local, will max out at 330PM... another 40 mins or so from now.

I got out there and saw it. My wife got some xray film and we used that and our sunglasses to see it. Yes I know it's not totally safe but it was near sunset here when it started and we only looked at it for brief periods of time. Then a guy came along with some number 14 welding glass and you could see it fine through that.
