After reading the article, it looks like the volt was partially inspired by the HyWire concept from a few years ago. The notion of a hydrogen powered car with interchangeable bodies. Also, the ever quotable Bob Lutz "What is there about November 2010 that you don't understand?". Imagine if it were Bob comming here to diffuse the headlight situation instead of Scott?
