GoPro IPO

Tomorrow GoPro goes IPO. Might as well make a little money off stuff we buy.

At the price they want to put on the shares, I don't think it's worth it

That is what everybody said about Facebook the day before IPO. It is now trading at 220% of IPO price.

Just my opinion, not giving investment advice.

True....but it went from a $38 IPO to $18.06 just 3.5 months later. However, it has since rebounded, so $18.06 would've been a great time to buy. That's the problem with trying to time the market though.

I might buy some....they're expected to go public at $24/share...the high end of the expected range.

You are seeing the biggest bubble in about useless, no "moat" technology, easily copied and made free billion dollar companies right now. Enjoy it. Some of us saw the last tech bubble. The rear view mirror view was "well they had NO Earnings!" that's why it was a bubble. Now it's "well they earned $50k last year and this year they earned $150k, so the 2 billion dollar valuation is priced in on future earnings growth".....etc

Rinse and repeat.

How many Facebook ads have you, C5 Readers, clicked and bought from?

The IPO price is 3x earnings, that is a good number in any bodies book. I am hoping for a buy out from one of the big players.

I bought Sabre at IPO, that is working out for me. I bought AMR at $0.19, that one is really working out. Heck, I bought UPS the day the market reopened after 9/11. That one worked well too.

I like to play in the market, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

If you got in early, I'd sell. Don't GoPro...GoShort. And yes, that's some investment advice.

Float bubble underneath today, 17% drop. New issues are crazy to trade.
