Both cars ran mid 13s. Thats not very fast, at least for the mustang.

Not really surprised a smart car can be made fast - they weigh almost nothing. However, I am a little surprised it didn't fall over backwards

That Mustang driver couldnt drive a tricycle and if that Smart Car outran that Mustang as you think he did, just imagine what that same Smart Car would do to your 1LE considering that Mustang is a GT500.

The Smart Car trapped an 80 with an ET in the 13's. They clearly stopped driving halfway through the race and coasted to the finish. That is the only reason why or it would've been bus lengths. Clearly, there was some kind of a mechanical issue.

I bet that car was low 11's if they kept going.
