MY C7 JUST GOT WAY MORE EXPENSIVE
Wife says I have to build a heated/cooled 3 car garage with hydraulic lift for my C7 (we have a 1 car full or farm equipment) - She says it has to have a 2nd floor for a bathroom, wet bar, and pool table - Great wife but I figure this shall cost the same as my C7 doubling the cost.
I figure I shall buy an Atlas lift and jack up my C7 over the winter to keep the weight off the tires. Anyone suggest a better lift and/or heavier capacity lift? Is there any problem with jacking up a C7 for an extended period of time to get the weight off the tires? It shall be nice to get underneath it to really check and clean it. This is the 8,000 lb. low ceiling lift that lists for about $1,500 - Also comes in a 9,000 and 10,000 lb. lift - May get a heavier capacity lift to also service my heavier trucks, trailers, and other farm equipment . http://www.atlasautoequipment.com/products/bp8000 Also go here to see a load test video http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/At...Fc1j7AodHVwApA Please note that I have no financial stake in these companies - The Atlas appears to be a good product at an affordable price. But, I am open to other lifts - Any suggestions? Last edited by Richardlord; 04-20-2014 at 10:38 AM. |

Sounds like a plan. The wife and I are moving in with y'all and so is our C7.
![]() BUT you're going to have to install a turntable like the Batcave has so I don't have to back into the garage anymore.

Huuuuuum. Batcave turntable. Great idea! Actually, we are going to have a 2nd garage door on the back wall so I can drive through or drive in with a boat or utility trailer to disconnect and host up on the lift. |

Great idea. Front and back doors. Two escape routes for when the zombies come.

You might also check out Backyard Buddy lifts. They are made here in the U.S. and have very sturdy construction. You can also order them with custom color powder coat to go with the Batcave theme! When my garage addition is complete that's the lift I'm considering.

Checked it out - Probably would get it if I was to get a 4 post lift - But, I want a 2 post lift so I can get my C7 enough off the ground to take the weight off the tires when I store it in winter - So, I am back looking for a good 2 post lift reasonably priced. Here is another site for 2 post lifts http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/...FcqUfgodrg0A7Q Last edited by Richardlord; 04-22-2014 at 02:21 PM. |
