Are you Deutsch in that thread? If you are, no offense but you shouldn't have insulted him back. Yea he was completely wrong for calling you a d**che but in those situations just report him to a moderator and I'm sure they'd deal with him strictly. I'm sure that's how the mods here would like it done too.

Anyways you got your buddies right here what you need BMW friends for!?

No, I just caught it. BMW owners have always been regarded as extremely arrogant, just a case in point here.

Actually, I see nothing wrong with what the first replying poster said. He said this guy might be able to find a cheaper car....and if you look at Deutchs initial post, he comments about money playing a key role.

I want to know how in the HECK this Deutch guy can get so pissy for someone trying to help him out. Sure, he started the thread, but he took the help in completely the wrong context. So....BMW guys fault? Nope. I think it's Deutch's fault. Dude needs to chill out a bit. Deutch got stand off-ish from the first reply and was the first to start the name calling and generalization of types of owners. I would have warned Deutch to chill out and would have also told him why.

Regardless of everything else, no one needs to name call. Keep that for PM's as it brings down both the posters image and the image of the site.

And yes, bring it to our (Mods) attention if that ever happens. We'd be happy to do a little cleaning to keep this a great place!!!

Eh, never been a fan of BMWs... same goes for their owners. Whenever I see a BMW I think back to the movie Finding Forrester where the kid humiliates the guy leasing the beamer hehe

I think everyone ought to take a break in that thread, truthfully. You have to be careful how you read people's words on the internet. I actually think deutsch sounded more sarcastic than irritated, then some dude called him a "douche", which I think was the tipping point for that whole discussion not to mention the other members doing the whole band-wagon thing in rebuttal against him. Right or wrong, people should try to exercise a little more objectivity in their statements and not be so quick to assume what they think another is saying or not saying.

My take on things is that mr Deutsch took that first comment the wrong way. That set his mood for all the rest of his responses, and by the time people were starting to keep things civil, the thread got shut down -all in under a half an hour. A bit too short for me, I think things could have settled unless that guy was a known troll.
