Greetings from Great White North!!

Long time watcher/lurker from Canada (since the C5 was announced).

Don't currently have a C5 Camaro but it's on my radar now.

Will be moving to Detroit MI over the next few months - the car Mecca.

Currently own a '72 GTO (being restified) and a street/strip '69 Firebird.

GM guy - all my life!!

Thanks for allowing me to participate here at C5 Camaro
BR/Brian.

Thanks Bowtie-Bri!

Love the Nickey Camaro (black-on-red is a wicked combo).

Was thinking about a Z/28 in the future, but at the announced price, seems like it is 'unobtanium' for me. Perhaps a 1LE is more in my wheel-house.

Any advice on areas in Detroit to settle-in? My wife/I are looking at Grosse Pointe (all 5) at the moment.

Thanks!
Brian.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks 13BlackCamaroSS and SirNuke!!

Lots of interesting beverages in that fridge!!

Just wanted to share my Photobucket album for the GTO:

http://s211.photobucket.com/user/gto...um/library/gto.

A lot of work still to do to finish the car, and I need a 'do-over' on some of the items (e.g. lapping some of those floor patches wasn't my favorite way to go).

I have contacted Wing's Auto Art in Sterling Heights, but thery are booked until the early summer.

I may just put the two cars in storage in T-Dot until I can find them a suitable place in Michigan.

Thanks 13CasmaroSS, we are heading back to Detroit Rock City and my wife and I will be tasking some time to check out other area's. She has read a lot of good things about Boston Edison, Palmer Park, Ferndale and Pleasant Ridge.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
BR/Brian.
