I wanted to start a thread for those of us who went with the competition sports seat option. As we all know there was a late availiblity on these sweet looking seats. I was Finally after months of waiting able to get an actuall order number on 6/28/13. I have allocation #1 at my local dealer, Camp Chevrolet in Spokane, WA. Almost three months later and I'm still at 1100...

If you, like I, went for the track seats lets keep eachother informed of any order status changes we see...
I dragged and autocrossed my last car, a 3 series Bimmer no less, so the stock seats were not an option for how I plan to use this Slice of American Firepower!

Here's to hoping for any status change...

I had ordered the competition seats but then changed the order. First, my dealer said they would likely be on constraint until at least December and, secondly, all of the warnings from GM that the seats would be uncomfortable and not suitable for daily driving scared me away.

Having said that, if someone tells us the constraint is lifted before the end of the year, I may reconsider because not only will they be better at the track but they look way better IMO.

I just returned from a local dealership and they confirmed that RPO 7O6 is still on constraint at least through October (~30 days). They already had 2 orders where the customers revised (to opt out) so that their build can move along... go figure.

And another month goes by waiting...

I'm guessing one day nothing will be on constraint. But what year will that be

Yaaaaaahoooooooo!!!!!!
After placing my deposite in June, my dealer just called and my order is finally accepted minus the visable CF roof. The Comp Sport Seats and Z51 are good to go!

Fully loaded 3LT with every option. 7 M/T of course...

I did change my color from CGM to my mid life crisis color.

And Black wheels to match...

Here comes my first Corvette!!!!
