C7 Z51 AFTER MARKET WHEELS & TIRES
Given that the C7 comes with Michelin specially designed summer tires, and we are in cold weather, I am going to put on a cold weather run-flat tire. My C7 Z51 shall come with black rims with the Michelins, but I don't want to keep chaging out tires on these rims going from summer to winter and vice versa. This means buying another set of rims to go with the cold weather tires.
So, in additon to C7 rims, I am looking at after market rims, as well as tires, as Chevy has no winter tire offering. Any suggestions on after market rims for a Z51? The Z51 rims are: front - 19x8.5 and rear - 20x10. Looked at and liked the Vossen VVSCV3 as that is the only rim it offers in this size, although I underatnd Vossen is coming out with a specific C7 rim. Any opinions out there on Vossen? See http://www.vossenwheels.com/Wheels/ Any other suggestions? As for tires, looking at several including the Michelin A/S 3, if a run-flat - Has to be a run-flat for me. Any suggestions on RUN-FLATS for a Z51? Thanks |

Any of the wheels from TSW.COM work, 1/2 in wider but work fine with stock tires....offset is perfect....

HRE's look great. There's a nice thread on them on corvetteforum.

![]() But if you have the dough, they are gorgeous!! Glen's suggestion on TSW wheels seems to be a very good and more affordable choice (if that matters).

Good point. I thought they were mostly around $5k, but I guess some are more expensive. Another great, relatively inexpensive option is Forgestar. They have a great selection as well, at least they did on the C6.
