Vin#'s don't match
Does anyone know the procedure and how long it will take to have my transferable registration corrected? The last 2 digests are transposed. It's for a 71

Go to DMV with the documents and the '71 and ask for a VIN inspection and verification.

I took a picture of the vin on the car filled out a new registration form. Went to the DMV. A supervisor looked at the picture AND 5 minutes later had the corrected registration. So easy it scared me a little!
