Is that the same car that Dick Van Dyke had burn to a crisp the other day?

That's why you want to get the driver talent mod before you track your car.

If you have never gone off, you have probably never pushed your car at the track and you're probably not a very good driver. The 'ring is particularly unforgiving when you go off. The driver in question is a professional, hired by Jaguar to scare the bejesus out of potential buyers in their track-prepped XJ. If you're going to track your car you need to be prepared to replace/rebuild it or have track insurance. Otherwise, stick to autocross.

I see your point, but I'm not sure the guy who wrecks his car is a better driver than the one that drove within his limits.

Professional/race drivers crash. Shit happens. Me driving like grandma around the ring does not make me better than the pros.

Erhm... professional driver or not, if the wheels LOCK (maybe not used to drive without ABS?), get OFF/release some pressure on the brakes, and allow your car to turn instead of slide straight on and into the armco.

Yep. I track regularly and I know it's only a matter of time before I go off. The guys who do are either starting out or have been at it a long time and are looking for that extra tenth.
