New to the site
Hello,
I'm new to the forum and to owning a Camaro but not to Camaros in general. My Pop took me a car show when I was 12 and I wanted one ever since. Fast forward 13 years and I'm ready to make the dream car a reality. I bought the dream car back in October of 2012 - a 2011 sliver ice metallic Chevy Camaro with only 729 on the clock. I was coming home from work on 4-Jun this year on the highway and some schmo in a Ford Edge behind me thought he could play cat-and-mouse with me. A construction truck (ironically dubbed a "safety truck") had bigger plans. He was stopped dead in the left lane on a blind turn, I could stop in time, the Ford Edge couldn't - BOOM! He rear ended me and totaled my dream car. Anyway, I replace it with his insurance check and got a 2013 1LT fully loaded. Still silver ice metallic and still fun as hell but somehow it doesn't really feel like 'mine.' I know I shouldn't complain, he was ok, I'm ok, and that's what's really important. Alas, to make a long story less long, I'm here on the forum as a 2013 Camaro owner to talk shop with you guys. I'm looking to forward to learning and contributing. Cheers.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
