Volt price being dropped.
GM announced the Volt base price will be dropped 12% to make them more competitive. Base will be $34k and after tax rebate it will be $27k. At that price I could picture the wife buying one.

12% is a lot and that's gotta take a big chunk out of their profits for that vehicle.
I hope they didn't cut any corners to make up the difference.

I have a question - if a volt is in an accident is it referred to as a short afterwards
 j/k this is good news means this market is possibly maturing and the cost are coming down or is GM trying to prop up sales to keep from killing it off? |

Cadillac is releasing the ERL. A luxury version and that will have a high price tag around $60k. That's where they make their money.
