Finally! I own my car! What next?
My cobalt is the second car I have onwed and the first one i had made payments on. I'm 21 FYI and live on my own and actually have jobs and responsiblities while I go through school unlike others my age.
![]() I paid my loan off yesterday in one lump sum and I'm really excited about it! ![]() ![]() Now I want to put my nearly perfect 3 year old car in my garage and drive something a little less nice and little better in the snow. This is a much better idea than modifiying my cobalt more and dumping money into a car I have to drive everyday, snow or shine. I am looking for a small pickup (4cyl,5cyl,6cyl) thats a 4x4 and hopefully an auto. I need this for work and it needs to be around 8-12k and have under 75k miles if possible. I'd love to have a GM as I am a fan but toyotas, nissans and fords are good too. I won't own a chrylser (dodge) fyi. Anyone have good experineces with small pickups? Anything I should be aware of before buying a certain model? I can't afford to buy a lemon and sadly it will have to be used. Anyone with some life experiences have any suggestions? Sell me on something! lol Thanks all! |

as far as small trucks go you cant really go wrong with any of the big 3 trucks. they all last a long time. just make sure you have sandbags in the back in winter |

My blazer has 83k miles on it and still running strong. I am also a member of the s10 forum and people on there have 100k+ miles some even have 200k+ miles and they are running strong.
