Pandora, Spotify or XM

Free subscription runs out this month for me. Should I re-up or stream Pandora or Spotify through Bluetooth?

What do you use and why?

The only reason why I didn't vote is because I don't use Either of the ones listed. I don't stream because i don't have unlimited data so I have spotify premium and save the songs for offline mode

I use Pandora 24/7 it seems like. I have the XM, but I rarely turn it on. The only time I use it, is the RARE occasion I'm going somewhere that doesn't get cell reception. So maybe 2-3x a year? lol

Yeah, I've started streaming and checking my data usage every day to see how quickly it will get me up to 5GB :(

Depending on how long you drive that can go very quickly. I myself drive at least an hour a day plus the time i spend when i workout. The 9 dollars you pay a month is much cheaper than eating through data. And where I live there a lot of trees and XM goes in and out a lot so with Spotify I don't have to worry about that.

Spotify hands down. Love it. Especially the local cache of all your songs.
And the bitrate is very high on ultra.
Down side is 10 a month.

Cd? What's a cd? They still sell those? All my music all 350 gigs of it is digital has been for over 15 years.

I'm sure it is... probably most of it is 128 bit.... try this if you don't want to rip.... i think you will be amazed at the difference. Of course I assume everyone reading this "wants" to pay for their music.

XM is convenient for me seeing as I don't have a smartphone (I know), and I don't care to lug around my iPad with 3G just for Pandora. It works well enough for me, and once I've found the channels I enjoy it's perfect, I even enjoy listening to the dumb morning mash-up on Hits 1

Oh, and occasionally I hook up my old 2nd Gen iPod touch via a 3.5mm jack to listen to my playlists.
