non-Camaro random test drives today. Anyone?

So, I had some time to kill and saw a Shelby GT500 at Stringray Chevrolet in Plant City FL.
I'm talking to the guys and find out they have a 2010 GTR as well.

1st we started with the2010 Shelby GT500: Lots of fun shifting gears and I enjoyed driving it, but I will keep my ZL1 and will happily drive home in the Corvette we arrived in. Not knocking the car, just would not trade for one. I would like it in the garage thou

2nd, the 2010 GTR: OMG! it was too much fun. Great acceleration and it sounded like an Indy car. It would hard to drive and not go fast in that car. But again, I will keep the ZL1 for my tastes and expect that the wife would not give up her Vette for the GTR. If you have not driven one, you should =).

On the drive home, I was thrilled that I had the chance to test drive the cars, but was more thrilled to be in our own car. As I was driving though, I could not imagine not driving my ZL1 at this point in my life. So, in closing, ZL1 is all me!!!

about a month ago I saw an all black Ram 1500 with a HEMI - thought sure why not I could use a new truck.

Ended up driving it home

I shouldn't do random test drives

dang dude, you got the zl1 and your wife has a corvette? id be so happy to step into my garage and see those two next to each other. What did you think of the feel of the gt500 as far as weight is concerned? (i have never driven one, only test drove a corvette and i own an SS)
