My 99 TA for an 02 BMW X5?

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone had any expierience with a BMW X5.

This one has the 4.4L V8.

Not sure of the X5's mileage or condition but they go for between 6-10k depending on options on the Canadian Autotrader.

My TA is a bolt on car with LT's TQ arm 3600 stall and runs 12.2's at 110/111 and has 130,000 miles.

So anything special I need to look for?

I wouldn't do it. My friend had one and was a maintenance and repair nightmare. Even when I get him parts at dealer cost (I run a parts jobber)

Talked to mechainic today and he said steer clear.

Believe it our not my GF asked me from the start(when I bought the 5th) not to sell it or trade it she said I would be sorry.

She is right I am going to keep it and drag race the shit out of it like I have done the last 3 summers
