New ZR1 - evolution of the LT1 engine? What does that mean?

I read on the carbuzz app that the new ZR1 is in the works and is *probably* going to be an evolution of the current stingray LT1 engine with possibly the same blower as is on the current ZR1's. Does anyone have any idea what this "evolution" would be? The LT1 already seems like an extreme evolution from the LS3, so I'm wondering what they could mean by this

From what I've heard the Gen Vs were designed with FI in mind. So...not sure what they're getting at.
