Interesting, I am sure there is a market for them. Never my style though.

It dosen't say it is coming they are just speculating it could be. It's mainly about GM trademarking the name ElCamino and Nomad.

Posted something awhile back in hopes in would be brought to the US. Was never really a huge El Camino Fan but would love to see something like the HotRod Black Edition available here.

Whoa, whoa, hold up there.

Nobody said it would. In fact I'm pretty sure GM said the other day they were just routinely renewing trademarks.

The Ute does have a program code for North America but the business case needs to be made first and the program approved.

Was always partial to the Rancheros myself. It had just a better looking body design IMO.

All it takes is a new article with the headline "The homegrown Holden ute is almost certain to follow in the tyre tracks of its Commodore sedan stablemate and be exported to North America." and rumors will fly.

There was a group of "Aussie's" driving 3 of them on the 2010 Power Tour.
Had the shipped over, and spent a few months touring the States.
Pretty cool bunch of guys.

no idea who would buy that car. I can't see them selling enough to break even.

People who really don't need a midsize or fullsize truck but need hauling capability.

When I was in Australia a few months ago I literally saw these things EVERWHERE. They love em out there. And frankly they look pretty mean when you actually see one in real life.

Always thought El Caminos and Rancheros were a cool idea...But that Holden thing just looks too Subaru-ish or something, not "trucky" enough...lol
