not a camaro but cool

i figure i share and hopefully GM will see this and incorporate this in the camaros some day. i though it was cool to have it in our cars

Cool but there is no way I'd feel comfortable having my car drive off on it's own!

it will take some time to get confortable but, once you know that the technology works great, it will be pimp to have that.

They're working on passing laws right now to authorize the use of self-driving cars on public roadways. So far a few states out west have them (CA and a couple others I believe), and they're working on Federal laws now. Kinda reminds me of the taxis in Total Recall.

Lincoln's new lane monitor and smart cruise allow the vehicle to drive itself on the highway(which Ford would never claim due to liability)The review I read said the ride was a little jerky as the lane monitoring software assumes that the driver is in control, not playing on his tablet. With software updates, a highway drive mode could easily be in the near future.

I can see that going wrong at Christmas time at the mall. All the cars trying to park and leave at the same time at 2mph.
